Faith.

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002.

He was born with 2 legs - He of course could not walk
when he was born.
Even his mother did not want him.

この犬は2002年のクリスマスイブに生まれました。

彼は2本の脚で生まれました--生まれたとき、彼は、
もちろん歩くことができませんでし、
彼の母親さえ彼をのぞみませんでした。

His first owner also did not think that he could survive and
he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'.
But then, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow,
met him and wanted  to take care of him.
She became determined to teach and train this little dog to
walk by himself..   
She named him 'Faith'.

彼の最初の所有者も、彼が生き残ることができないと考えました、そして、
彼は'安らかに眠らせてあげようと考えていました。

しかし、彼の現在のオーナー(ジュードStringfellow)は、
彼に会って、彼の世話をしたいと思いました。
彼女はこの小さい犬を、教えて自分で
歩けるように訓練することを決心するようになったのです。

彼女は彼をFaith(信仰.信頼)と命名しました。

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfboard to
let him feel the movement.
Later she used peanut  butter on a spoon as a
lure and reward for him for standing up and jumping around.
Even the other dog at home encouraged him to walk.
Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle,   
Faith learned to balance on his hind legs and to jump to
move forward.After further training in the snow,
he could now walk like a human being.

先ず初めに、彼に動きを感じさせるように、彼女は、Faithをサーフボードに乗せました。
その後、彼女は、立ち上がって跳び回るようになるために、彼の興味を引き誘い込む
ご褒美としてスプーンに乗せたピーナツバターを使用しました。
家のいる他の犬さえもが、彼が歩くよう励しましたのです。

驚くほどに!  たった6カ月後に、、奇跡のように、Faithは、彼の後ろ足でバランスをとって、
ジャンプして前進よることを学びました。その後、雪の上の訓練で彼は、
今、人間のように歩くことができるのです。


Faith loves to walk around now.
No matter where he goes, he attracts people to him.
He is fast becoming famous on the international scene and
has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows.
There is now a book entitled 'With a Little Faith' being
published about him.He was even considered to appear
in one of Harry Potter movies.

Faithは、今歩き回るのか大好きです。どこに行っても、彼は人々を招きよせます。
彼は、アッという間に有名になり、数々の国際的にも著名な新聞やテレビ番組に登場しています。
今や"リトルFaith共に"と題した彼に関しての本が発行され、ハリー・ポッター映画の
1つに登場すると考えられさえしています。

 
His present owner Jude Stringfellew has  given up
her teaching post and plans to take him around the world
to  preach that even without a perfect body,
one can have a perfect soul'.

彼の現在のオーナーのジュードStringfellewは、今まで彼女の関わってきた
教育の職を放棄して、完璧な身体でなくても完全な精神を持つことができるとを
伝え広めるために、Faithを連れて世界中を旅する計画しています。

In life there are always undesirable things, so in order
to feel better you just need to look at life from
another direction. I hope this message will bring
fresh new ways of thinking to everyone
and that everyone will appreciate and be thankful
for each beautiful day.
Faith is the continual demonstration of the strength
and wonder of life.

人生では、いつも望ましくないやっかいまことがあるもので、
人生を一つの面からだけではなく別の方面からの面も見る必要があることを感じることが望ましいのです。
このメッセージが、それぞれに新鮮で新しい考え方をもたらし、
皆がその価値を認めて、美しい美しい毎日を感謝することを願うものです。

Faithは人生の強さと驚きの絶え間ないことの証なのです。
